lolz, no journal in a year AGAIN! I think it must be the fact that I hate diaries....so catch it while it lasts

*tired* Sooo, I got into RPI and that is where I'm currently attending school. I'm an Electronic, Media, Communication, and Arts (EMAC) Major. I have a nice roommate who recognizes the fact that I'm a loner and doesn't make me go to parties and such We usually just stay on our separate sides of the room and sometimes talk about ridiculous assignments and drunken neighbors...

My classes are as follows: Calculus 2, Media Studio, Communication Theory ( >.< ), and Computer Programming.

The media studio class is fun, I’ve already completed several agreeable projects that let me create digital works of art and I'm looking forward to the "design a game character" assignment! Communication Theory is all politics and we only have a midterm, final, and term paper, which is good for certain kinds of people but I would like to have a foothold for my grades...

Calculus is pretty easy so far...I can usually do well in math classes if I just memorize the basic formulas. Computer programming is probably a 6/10 on the difficulty scale; we're learning visual basic which is sort of like java which is sort of like javascript, so I know like half the terms (ifelse/variables etc.) already. It's always exciting to learn a new language, spoken OR computer.

Arhghghg! So many projects to do and papers to write though; The good thing is that I'm usually about a week ahead of all my deadlines...and I still have work to do even when I'm ahead. Who knows how the procrastinators survive....I hear RPI has an unusually high suicide rate =/ Not to mention the crime rate...*sprints to all her night classes* lol

My mom is so paranoid...she has to call every day or so and see if I survived the night. T_T Let me be freeeee! I understand it's hard to send your first kid to college though. They're paying like 80% of my tuition too....Geez, I should be nicer =/

I'm excited to announce my WEBCOMIC...OH YEEEAH! I've been working on this idea for like 3 years and one day I just decided to sit down, list all the plot points, and make a massive character reference sheet. I still have only designed like 4 characters....oh well; we'll see where the story takes me!

*random exciting fact* If you search Yugioh wallpaper on Google images, mine is #5 Or maybe by the time I post this it won't be....who knows....

Also, I've found a lot of art theft by searching on Google....come on guys, my art's not even worth stealing *annoyed*

I've been on like a super-charged art spree ever since I've starting living in a dorm. I feel so much more creative when no one's there to restrict me....I'm feeling some improvement coming on (Hopefully)
